You are what you eat! READ AfterSchool believes nutrition is an important cornerstone to a student’s success, and we have adopted the following guidelines for our snack program:

WEEK 1
- MondayGrapes and pretzel sticks
- TuesdayApple slices and peanut butter | Alternate for nut allergies: Cheese cubes
- WednesdayGreen pepper slices, saltines and ranch dip
- ThursdayTrail mix (nuts, sunflower seeds and dried fruit) | Alternate for nut allergies: Cheerios and dried fruit
- Fun FridayWhole grain Goldfish crackers and raisins
WEEK 2
- MondayAir-popped popcorn and applesauce
- TuesdayCarrots and hummus
- WednesdayClementines and whole wheat crackers
- ThursdayCheese squares (or string cheese) and raisins | Alternate for milk allergies: Pretzels with raisins
- Fun FridayBaked potato chips and ½ banana
