Healthy Snacks

  • Healthy Snacks

You are what you eat!  READ AfterSchool believes nutrition is an important cornerstone to a student’s success, and we have adopted the following guidelines for our snack program:

    • On a daily basis, snack includes a fresh fruit or vegetable
    • Water is always available as a beverage. Other beverages such as natural fruit juice or milk may be served, but we don’t serve beverages with added sweeteners
